Hands-on drone training near Boston
Learn the aircraft by flying it.
Private and small-group instruction built around your experience, your equipment, and the work you want to do.

What we work on
Practical instruction, not a prerecorded course.
Flight foundations
Aircraft setup, preflight routines, orientation, launch and landing, Return to Home, battery management, and emergency habits.
Camera and movement
Exposure, composition, smooth control inputs, orbits, reveal shots, intelligent modes, and deliberate flight paths.
Your aircraft and questions
Bring your DJI aircraft or learn on Mike’s equipment. The session follows the skills, features, and decisions that matter to you.
Teams and working pilots
Customized sessions can address crew roles, repeatable workflows, capture standards, mapping concepts, and field communication.
Commercial perspective
Taught by someone who uses drones for real work.
Mike has completed more than 600 flights since 2017. His experience includes construction documentation, aerial photography, mapping, inspection workflows, and DJI consumer, professional, and enterprise aircraft.
This is hands-on flight instruction. Mike does not offer Part 107 exam preparation. UAV Coach provides a separate certification course for that purpose.
